Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) and School SLP credential is sought for a K-12 public school setting in Santa Barbara, CA. This contract position is available immediately and will extend through the end of the current school year.
This role involves supporting a diverse caseload of over 50 students, primarily in general education classrooms who experience speech difficulties. Additionally, there are a limited number of students in Special Day Classes (SDC) who require specialized support. Some students utilize Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices, and experience with AAC is beneficial for this position.
The SLP will work mainly with elementary school students, providing individualized speech therapy, conducting assessments, and collaborating with teachers and support staff to develop effective communication strategies. The position offers the advantage of a designated workspace and access to all necessary materials to deliver quality services.
