job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participate in emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random armed patrols in and around the government facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities. Monitor and report any suspicious activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel. Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols for access control and incident reporting. Engage with visitors, employees, and / or contractors to offer assistance while maintaining a visible security-related presence. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when required. Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times while representing Allied Universal at the location. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Have at least 1 year of experience in an armed security-related, law enforcement, or military position. Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations. Handcuff, pepper spray, and baton training or certification is preferred. Have customer service experience, which is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. As a Security Professional - Armed Government Patrol Specialist in Reno, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.
Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer, where you'll actively monitor and patrol government locations to help foster a secure environment for community members and staff. In this role, you will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service through positive interactions and clear communication. This armed position allows you to contribute to a collaborative, people-first team that values reliability, integrity, and innovation while making a meaningful impact in the community.

What You'll Do :
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
