We're seeking a highly skilled and passionate HVAC Technical Trainer to lead the development and delivery of training programs for our service technicians and installers. This individual will be responsible for creating a structured curriculum that supports both new hire onboarding-particularly for entry-level or "green" technicians-and ongoing technical development. The ideal candidate will ensure our teams are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and certifications needed to perform high-quality HVAC installations, maintenance, and repairs safely and efficiently, all while upholding Deljo's commitment to technical excellence and exceptional customer service in the field.

Pay Scale : $85k-$100k
Work Hours : Monday to Friday, 7 : 00am - 4 : 00pm
Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging training programs for HVAC systems, including installation, diagnostics, repair, and maintenance.Facilitate onboarding training for new technicians and continuing education for existing staff.Conduct hands-on training sessions in classroom, lab, and field environments.Evaluate technician performance and provide coaching and feedback to support skill development.Monitor performance of field technicians / installers and advise them on how to improve.Conduct ride alongs with service technicians / installers and debrief with them afterward.Continue to build out training facility.Create a long term vision for the training department.Implement established curriculum and lesson plans in an organized and concise mannerSetup, manage, and track current HVAC training center furnishings, equipment, and suppliesEnsure compliance with training center policies and procedures including student safety and orientationEvaluate performance and maintain accurate and timely records of attendance, performance scores, and progressDemonstrate HVAC expertise in our fully equipped training centerStay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve training content.Support the rollout of new tools, equipment, and procedures through structured training initiatives.Maintain a positive and focused learning environmentOccasional evening classes for extension trainingQualifications :
2+ years of combined field and / or teaching experience10+ years of experience in the residential HVAC field within the last five (5) yearsA high degree of knowledge and expertise in all phases of residential HVAC include installation and serviceStrong understanding of HVAC tools, equipment, and safetyStrong written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills, and project management skillsValid driver's licensePreferred :
Experience as a technical trainer or instructor.EPA 608 Certification.OSHA 10 / 30 Certification.Experience with plumbing systems is a plus.Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design.Key Competencies :
