Construction Inspector Water Treatment Plant - Cincinnati

Overview

Fishbeck is seeking a Construction Inspector to support projects in the Cincinnati, OH area. The primary duties of this position include construction observation of water treatment facilities and associated documentation. Applicants must be willing to work in an outdoor environment.

Primary Functions

• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with Contract Documents and approved shop drawings.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and engineers to address constructability issues and handle Requests for Information.
• Participate in owner and construction progress meetings to stay informed and contribute to project success.
• Generate daily reports to keep everyone updated on project status.
• Attend manufacturer start-ups to gain hands-on experience and ensure smooth operations.

Desired Education

Associate's degree or Equivalent Experience in Civil Engineering Technology / Construction

Ability to stand and sit as needed on project sites. Ability to climb ladder. Ability to drive a motor vehicle to reach work sites. Ability to maneuver project sites with uneven terrain. Ability to read printed materials and view a computer screen. Capable of hearing and speech to communicate.
