Lawyers on Demand , a Consilio Company, is currently seeking a contract Litigation Paralegal  to support one of our prestigious law firm  clients for an on-site  assignment in midtown -  New York City .

Location & Schedule : This position is based in New York City. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 9 : 00 a.m. to 6 : 00 p.m. and is on-site 5 days per week.

Job Description – Core Responsibilities :

• Respond to and prepare written discovery documents
• Assemble exhibit binders for mediations, arbitrations, and trials
• Train and supervise legal assistants
• Conduct regular meetings with attorneys to review case files
• Maintain and manage calendars using case management software
• Draft meet and confer letters for legal correspondence
• Schedule depositions, hearings, and defense medical examinations
• Ensure strict adherence to scheduled appointments and deadlines
• Order, review, and summarize medical records
• Retain expert witnesses and prepare expert designations
