This 10-week paid internship is in Chicago, IL
Your Responsibilities
The ideal candidate for the position will be ready to assist in gathering, analyzing, maintaining, and reporting on budget and expense data and financial performance metrics. This role will also require you to utilize computer-assisted analytical and forecasting techniques and prepare monthly and annual reports for Internal Operations. This finance intern position will work closely with our analyst team and spend time in various rotations supporting different operating divisions, providing real-time financial support and analysis, and acting as a trusted adviser and partner. Additional project support, administrative tasks, and ad hoc requests to support business needs may also be required.

What You Need To Be Successful
Prior related internship or work experience is a plus
Volunteerism or leadership experience is a plus
Interest in the health insurance industry or beginning a career in Finance or Accounting
Demonstrated interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication
Strong analytical skills and intellectual curiosity
Strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments at once
Practical, developed PC skills, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Requirements You Must Meet
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field
Graduation date between December 2026 - June 2027
A minimum GPA of 3.0 / 4.0
Availability to work 10 weeks during the summer (June - August)
Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. (Currently, we are not offering this program to students on a visa)
