Senior Accountant

Job Responsibilities :
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, cash flow statements, and forecasts
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and systems
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide recommendations
- Assist in budgeting, job costing, and forecasting activities
- Manage fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules
- Prepare and file various tax returns and reports
- Implement and maintain accounting software and systems
- Conduct financial analysis for special projects and initiatives
Skills :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior roleStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standardsProficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modelingExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesEffective communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirementsAdaptability to changing priorities and deadlinesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamMust be able to submit to a background check and a drug screen.
