Join Our Team as a Precision Turning Specialist

At Acme Industries, we are seeking a talented Precision Turning Specialist to join us on our exciting 2nd shift schedule. With incredible perks and the chance to excel, this is a tremendous opportunity for you to showcase your skills in a leading ISO-certified facility.

Role Overview

Embark on a journey where your expertise in CNC turning and lathe operations transforms raw materials into extraordinary finished products. Utilizing FANUC systems, you will contribute to vital manufacturing processes that cater to our esteemed clientele. Regular shifts span from Monday through Friday, 4 : 20 pm till the early hours of the next day at 2 : 50 am, with occasional overtime as needed including weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate precise interpretations of blueprints to guide your machining tasks.
  • Perform intricate progressive machining on diverse work assignments with tight tolerances and finishes.
  • Initiate straightforward setup and oversee multiple machinery operations when required.
  • Execute and validate product inspection routines effectively.
  • Maintain rigorous safety protocols and keep an orderly working environment.
  • Adapt flexibly to take on additional responsibilities.

Who We're Looking For

We're searching for someone who :

  • Is adept in English reading and writing; computer literacy is advantageous.
  • Brings over five years of machining training and professional experience, though equivalents are considered.
  • Is well-versed in CNC tool operation and has a comprehensive understanding of machining techniques.
  • Understands blueprint details flawlessly.
  • Possesses the physical capability to handle up to 50 pounds frequently.

    Your Proficiencies should include GD&T, continuous improvement initiatives, CNC tooling, as well as hands-on experience with G-Code, M-Code, and metalcasting. Experience with CNC lathes, such as Okuma or DMG Mori Seiki, is highly beneficial.
