job_description.job_card.job_descriptionDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and logistics plans in coordination with the project team and stakeholders Oversee and direct on-site activities, ensuring work is performed in compliance with plans, specifications, safety standards, and quality expectations Manage relationships with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely communication and resolution of issues Coordinate and lead project meetings, including OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) and subcontractor meetings Ensure proper documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and daily reports, is maintained throughout the project life cycle Monitor and control project costs to ensure alignment with budgets and identify potential cost-saving opportunities Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and delays to maintain project timelines Ensure compliance with local building codes, permitting processes, and safety regulations Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork on the job site 10+ years of construction project management experience, preferably with a commercial general contractor Proven track record of successfully managing ground-up projects ranging from 50,000 to 150,000 sq ft, ideally in the education or public sector Strong understanding of all phases of construction, from preconstruction to closeout Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore or Autodesk Build OSHA 10-Hour Certification (minimum requirement); OSHA 30 is a plus Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage teams and subcontractors effectively Demonstrated ability to maintain project schedules and budgets while ensuring high-quality and safe job site operations Skilled in reading and interpreting construction documents, contracts, and technical specifications Familiarity with local building codes, permitting processes, and inspection requirements Self-driven and detail-oriented with a strong commitment to delivering successful outcomes A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is a plus Base salary up to $135K (dependent on experience) The company pays $500 a month to cover the employees health, dental, and vision expenses 401(k) program Discretionary bonuses dependent on the individuals overall performance and responsibilities Company Vehicle or Vehicle Allowance + company credit card to cover fuel and project related expenses 5 weeks PTO
