Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Line Producer to join our team supporting a daily financial news program for Charles Schwab. This fast-paced role involves producing 1-2 live or live-to-tape broadcasts each weekday, requiring close collaboration with the production team to ensure high-quality, polished, and well-executed shows.

Key Responsibilities

Line produce 1-2 daily live or live-to-tape studio shows

Select stories and conduct guest research for editorial content

Build and manage detailed show rundowns

Write and edit scripts, teases, and segment copy

Coordinate video elements, graphics, and show assets

Oversee timing and pacing for smooth execution

Provide editorial and logistical leadership during pre-production and live broadcast

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in live studio newscast production

Strong editorial judgment and script writing skills

Proficiency with rundown software (e.g., iNews, ENPS)

Ability to work under deadlines in a collaborative environment

Willingness to work early morning shifts (5 : 00-7 : 00 AM)

Must be on-site at our Chicago office
