Position Summary :

This position is primarily responsible for developing and maintaining programs on inspection equipment including (Zeiss OGP Smartscope Keyence Starretts Microvu).

Key Responsibilities :

• Produces programs for inspection equipment.
• Reads and interprets hard copies and / or computerized drawings and specifications for parts.
• Computes dimensions and tolerances. Uses geometric tolerances and interprets and applies those requirements to the inspection versus tooling.
• Inspects completed components using CMM.
• Troubleshoots quality problems by effectively utilizing process control and corrective actions.
• Conducts gauge R&R studies to demonstrate capabilities of the inspection method.
