LHH is hiring a Payroll Specialist / HR Coordinator
Schedule : Monday–Thursday, 8am–4pm (Tuesday–Thursday possible; Mondays required for month-end)
Type : Contract-to-Hire

Key Responsibilities
Process weekly payroll for under 200 employees across multiple states using Paylocity
Manage two split payrolls and ensure compliance with NC and SC regulations
Handle onboarding tasks via Paylocity, including document verification and ID matching
Support month-end closing, reporting, and compliance procedures
Assist with HR administration, benefits enrollment, and employee relations
Use advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables)
Qualifications
3–5 years of payroll and HR experience (construction industry a plus)
Experience with Paylocity strongly preferred
Strong understanding of payroll variance and compliance
HR Coordinator-level experience acceptable if payroll skills are strong
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
References required before starting
Pay Details : $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
