International food corporation is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager! You will be responsible for the effective management and profitable operation of your assigned branch office.

Position : Cost Accounting Manager

Location : Mission Viejo, CA

Pay : $120,000 (DOE) plus benefits

Status : Full time / Direct hire

Job Duty :

• Independently compiles pertinent data to produce reports for the CEO
• Leads company's subsidiaries and cost accounting function and provides regular business reports to the CEO
• Develops and maintain the financial cost reports necessary to fully explain standard and gross margin analyses and the variances to planned results
• Builds databases by translating data into meaningful statistics to provide qualitative analysis and actions to improve processes
• Forecasts cost-related changes and risks and recommends cost effective solutions
• Travel to another office in Los Angeles 1-2 times a week (company car is provided)

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related discipline preferred
• 6 to 10 years of direct experience in industry cost accounting sector (import / export and logistics, food manufacturing or retail industry)
• 3+ years in a position equivalent to Cost Accounting or higher.
• Bilingual English and Spanish (spoken and written) preferred
• Experience with ERP implementation
