About the Job :

The Associate Director, Value, Access & Payor Marketing will support the design and execution of the brand value proposition through market access channels.

This individual will play a pivotal role in leading the strategy in communicating the value of SpringWorks products to core customer audiences, (payers, c suite, population-based decision makers, pharmacists, GPO, external thought leaders, etc.

along with delivering the suite of tactics to engage these customers. This is a highly cross-functional role that requires collaboration within the Commercial Team (Marketing, Sales, Market Access, Market Research, Trade and Patient Services) as well as other functions e.

g., FP&A, Medical, Legal and Regulatory.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate the execution of the overarching post-launch Market Access strategy
  • Lead the development and evolution of a strong product value proposition for payers, population-based decision makers, and channel customers
  • Develop impactful communications and promotional tools that effectively convey the value of SpringWorks products to Market Access customers
  • Lead the prioritization, planning, implementation, and rollout for assigned programs and tactics to ensure that they deliver against defined strategies.

This includes project management, issue identification and resolution, overseeing progression of pieces through internal review processes (e.

g. MLR), training of internal stakeholders, and the development of measurement frameworks and metrics to measure effectiveness

  • Conduct market research and access customer tactic creation in partnership with Brand team to communicate strategic imperatives and optimize value of Springworks products
  • Collaborate with Strategic Enterprise Account (SEAD) Team and matrix partners to manage and execute payer and channel specific value propositions, strategies and tactical plans to achieve business objectives and goals
  • Monitor the dynamic and evolving US Market Access environment (e.g., market research, analytics, health policy, customer / trade association meetings) and evaluate potential implications for SpringWorks products
  • Support the pull through of a value focused pricing strategy while considering financial impact and patient / customer experience.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally, ensuring strong partnerships and robust, timely external customer insights capture to inform value / access / pricing planning and launch efforts.
  • Engage with customers that impact the availability of Springworks Products for patients with an innovative, continuous improvement, solution- oriented mindset.
  • Interface with external organizations (vendors, payers, SPPs, PBMs, pop-based decision makers, COA, NCODA, ASCO, NCCN, etc.)
  • Plan, measure and report activity and post launch execution milestones.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Education : Bachelor's Degree required. Advanced degree preferred (e.g., PharmD, MPH, MBA).
  • 7+ years of experience in pharma or biotech industry, including at least 3 years of internal Market Access or Marketing experience
  • Expertise in the US market access environment (e.g., payers, health systems, pharmacies, health policy and reimbursement)
  • US Market Access launch experience required
  • US Market Access Oncology experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of start-up biotech culture
  • Strong understanding of US payer and channel market dynamics and how managed care organizations make decisions across commercial and public channels.
  • Experience and knowledge across multiple market channels including all payer segments, PBM, IDN, distribution, specialty pharmacy, GPOs
  • Experience with Commercial brand planning process and brand team engagement.
  • Financial acumen including resource allocation, budget management and reporting.
  • Oncology and / or rare disease experience
  • Ability to take concepts, resources and or assets effectively through internal Medical Legal Regulatory review process

  • Ability to travel up to 20% including overnight stay driven by business need.

Location Classification - Hybrid :

This role will be required to work onsite 2 days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday), or more depending on business needs.

Compensation :

The expected salary range for this position is $155,000 - $200,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
