Cross-Categorical Special Education Teacher
Are you a highly motivated and compassionate Special Educator seeking a rewarding opportunity for the 24 / 25 school year?
ProCare Therapy is currently looking for a qualified Special Education Teacher to join one of our trusted school districts located in the welcoming community of Dolton, IL.
In this role,you will work with students who have a range of disabilities, creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to their unique needs.

Job Description
- Full time
- 8 : 15am-3 : 30pm
- Full 24 / 25 school year
- Elementary and Middle school openings
- Openings in Resource and Self-contained classrooms, all roles will be Cross-Categorical

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or higher
- Active state License w / LBS1 (ESL, EC, or SPED Endorsement)
- Active state Certification
- Specializes in Self-Contained and / or ESL / English classroom
- Able to develop and implement IEPs while coordinating with internal departments
- Experience working with students with multiple disabilities
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check
Interview Process
- 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Recruiter
- 30 mins-1 hrvirtual / in-person interview with school district
- Offer is typically within 24 hours of virtual interview
As a ProCare employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis through direct deposit. Your hourly rate will be dependent upon your experience and education.
