Job DescriptionThe Role : The Marketing Scientist is knowledgeable in methodology and practice of marketing analytics with an emphasis on inferential and prescriptive methods.
This individual has experience with measurement and Media Mix Modeling (MMM), including advanced econometrics and statistical methods used to qualify media impacts.
The Marketing Data Scientist will work closely with teammates in Marketing Applied Sciences and stakeholders in the vehicle brands to ensure objective performance evaluation and optimization of audience activation to drive sales.
The Scientist will assist in the research and development of advanced marketing models, drawing insights and creating scalable products that identify channel and tactic level opportunities with high return on investment.
What You'll Do : Work on a diverse, cross-functional team to help implement high-impact, data-driven solutions to address business challenges in the vehicle brand marketing teams.
Possess contextual business knowledge and familiarity with marketing media measurement techniques including MMM, MTA, unified attribution, ROAS testing, and various industry measurement media platforms.
Apply advanced data-driven modeling techniques to inform decision making and solve complex business problems.Demonstrate an ability for using data, analytics, and insights to add revenue and business-impacting value.
Effectively communicate through telling a succinct, data-driven story in any forum, tailoring delivery to a wide range of stakeholder levels from analyst to senior executive.
Required Qualifications : Undergraduate degree in a quantitative field and 2 or more years of work experience.Expertise with fundamental statistical concepts and considerations for selecting an appropriate modeling technique.
Proficient writing Python / R and SQL / Spark, working with Pandas, StatsModels, PYMC, TensorFlow, Pytorch, Spark / ML, sklearn, numpy and related packages.
Preferred Qualifications : Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Marketing Science, Econometrics, Statistics, Psychometrics, (Bio)Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, or another quantitative field.
Familiarity with marketing analytics and advanced methods such as customer lifetime value, multi-touch attribution, time-series forecasting, and hierarchical bayes.
Additional Job DescriptionThis role is based remotely but if you live within a 50-mile radius of the listed locations, you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum.
