What You’ll Do : In this Legal Specialist II position, you will work under the supervision of the Legal Office Manager and assigned Attorneys to provide support, case management, and documentation for litigated and non-litigated matters.
In this position your duties will include, but not be limited to :
- Compiling and preparing medical summaries
- Preparing answers to written discovery responses
- Assisting in drafting motions
- Managing calendars and deadlines related to your assigned matters
- Requesting medical records
Flexibility is key as you will have other duties as assigned.
What It Takes to Join Our Team :
- Paralegal certificate / degree is preferred
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet multiple target dates / time deadlines
- Advanced computer skills utilizing Adobe Pro, Excel and Word
- Exceptional problem solving / analytical skills
- Excellent customer service skills, including strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must maintain and safeguard very confidential information
- Ability to work from our office in West Des Moines, Iowa
