SUMMARY
The Sr. Director of SCS Multi-Client Asset Management will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing various strategies to optimize Ryder’s multi-client 3PL operations.
This role requires a strong background in strategic planning and communication skills needed to develop consensus amongst internal stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be the driving force behind the company’s efforts to drive cost saving efficiencies across our national portfolio.
The portfolio consists of about 80 building / 25M square foot across North America in service of Ryder’s Ecommerce, Last Mile, Public Storage and general multi client operations.
Responsibilities :
Develop and implement strategies to optimizeutilization and efficiency across our network
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business unit leadership, operations, finance and real estate teams, to align strategies with company-widegoals andobjectives
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPI’s) to track effectiveness of asset management initiatives and drive continuous improvement
Evaluate market trends and industry best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation
Lead strategic planning and integration efforts resulting from mergers and acquisitions
Assess dynamic risk factors and develop mitigation strategies
Assess portfolio-wide customer priorities and volumes to ensure alignment with asset management strategy
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners
Present regular updates and reports to senior leadership on key metrics and performance
Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree in logistics or supply chain management preferred.
A minimum of 10 years of industry experience in supply chain operations, asset management or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Knowledge of e-commerce logistics and supply chain management principles
Strong analyitical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights
Proven track recorddriving outcomes in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Proven logistics management experience, focusing on strategic planning and execution.
Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems.
Languages : English.
Travel - 30% - 50% initially - REMOTE OTHERWISE
Applicants from California, Connecticut, Colorado, Hawaii, New Jersey, New York City, and Washington - Salary is determined based on internal equity;
internal salary ranges; market data / ranges; applicant’s skills; prior relevant experience; certain degrees or certifications, etc.
The salary for this position ranges from $140,000 to $170,000. Salaries may be supplemented with a bonus as applicable and / or as business conditions allow.
