Physician - Anesthesiologist
Position Summary

The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Anesthesiology, is seeking a full-time anesthesiologist to join our dynamic team of anesthesiologists, resident physicians, and certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs), who work collaboratively to support the departmental mission of delivering the highest quality of care in a fast-paced and diverse clinical practice.
Our Health System offers a variety of anesthetizing sites, providing challenging opportunities, including teaching and academic responsibilities if practicing on the main campus.
We have dedicated anesthesia teams at the main campus, also at nearby community hospitals in Olathe, Topeka and Great Bend, as well as the Indian Creek campus in Overland Park, Kansas, and multiple ASCs in the Kansas City metropolitan area.
We offer a general mix of cases, including high acuity trauma, regional anesthesia, endoscopy, vascular, cardiovascular, obstetrics, pediatrics, ENT, neurological surgery, orthopedics, pain management and non-operating room anesthesia.
Preferred candidates will have strong skills in regional blocks and epidurals.

Required Qualifications :
- MD / DO or equivalent
- ABA board certification or eligible in Anesthesiology
- Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri
