We are looking for a Systems Administrator to join our team of devoted caregivers. Within our IT team, caregivers will take care of our patient population and ensure that systems work efficiently to deliver world class care. You will :
- Build and maintain detailed workstation documentation.
- Handle LAN administration, installations, email administration, and problem resolution.
- Recommend, design, build, and support requirements including all hardware components.

Responsibilities :
- Consults on desktop applications and configurations to improve employee productivity.
- Troubleshoots software, hardware, network protocols, workstation and departmental server-related problems.
- Provides second level diagnostic Help Desk support for hardware, software and operating systems.
- Acts as primary contact for ongoing support requirements including all hardware components.
- Coordinates workstation purchase decisions based on enterprise standards.
- Recommends, designs, builds and supports PC workstations.
- Builds and maintains detailed workstation documentation including configuration of desktop software and impact of additions, deletions or upgrades to the workstation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education :
High School Diploma or GED.
Certifications :
For Information Technology Division caregivers, ITIL Foundations certification is required within 6 months of position start date.
Complexity of Work :
- Demonstrated knowledge of information systems and small to mid-size (- node) networks.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, set priorities, interact with all levels of internal and external personnel and excellent customer service.
Work Experience :
- Minimum two years information systems experience.
- Mid-size workstations support experience and server environment is required.
- Experience with personal computer architecture, interface components and telephone systems preferred.
Physical Requirements :
- Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
- Ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
- Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment.
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
- In some locations, ability to move up to 50 lbs.
