Renaissance Behavioral Health (RBH) , a leading community mental health provider in northeast Ohio, is excited to announce part-time and full-time openings at our Midtown Cleveland office for an experienced Medical Office Administrator .
This role is crucial for interacting with clients and guests in a healthcare setting, as well as managing administrative tasks for the clinical team.
Responsibilities :
- Serve as the front office support for clients and clinicians, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Manage client check-in / out processes, including explaining intake forms, collecting payments, and verifying insurance coverage.
- Provide initial assessment paperwork to patients, ensure completeness, and input electronic forms into the EHR system.
- Answer incoming calls, address client inquiries, handle payment-related questions, and process release requests.
- Maintain accuracy of client accounts, including billing details, contact information, and payment collection.
- Assist patients with scheduling and rescheduling appointments, ensuring accuracy in appointment details.
- Audit daily scheduler for appointment accuracy and cleanliness.
- Maintain general office cleanliness and organization, including sorting mail and scanning documents.
- Provide backup support to the Office Lead for pre-appointment processes.
- Perform additional office duties as assigned by the Administrative Manager.
Qualifications :
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Pleasant personality with strong interpersonal skills; team player with professional etiquette.
- Fundamental knowledge of medical office practices, procedures, and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Proficient in phone and computer operations, including basic IT systems and software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior experience with HIPAA regulations preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Previous experience in a medical office setting required.
- Strong patient service skills and phone etiquette.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
