Hours : First shift, 38.75 hours per week. No weekends, evenings, or holidays
Location : 123 Summer St, Worcester, MA 01608
Specialty : Pulmonary and Critical Care
Primary Responsibilities :
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilizing equipment
- Room patients, obtain health history, check vital signs and perform EKG’s
- Administer injections and collect specimens
- Schedule appointments, complete prior authorizations, process medication refills, handle referrals, answer calls and complete paperwork
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with minor, in-office procedures

Required Qualifications :
- High School diploma or GED
- Current, unrestricted nursing license (i.e. RN, LPN, LVN) in the state of Massachusetts
Preferred Qualifications :
- CPR certification
- Additional healthcare certifications including ARRT, CEHRS, CBCS, CMAA, CPT
- Experience with medical front office and back office duties including vitals, phlebotomy, injections, casting / splinting, administering medications, referrals, prior authorizations, and insurance verifications
