ICF is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to manage pricing proposals, contract negotiations as well as on-going contract administration supporting a growing and dynamic group with a broad client base in Federal, commercial and other Public Sector markets.
The ideal candidate will have a great attitude, a keen eye for detail, be flexible, and willing to think outside the box .
This position is hybrid to either our Rockville, MD or Reston, VA Headquarters, with anticipated in office time of 1-2 days / week.
Candidates must be able to work our core hours within the Eastern time zone.
What you will do :
- Provide contracts support for proposals and active contracts with state and local, commercial and federal clients.
- Review solicitations and contractual documents and assist in the development of proposal responses ensuring consistency with corporate policy, pertinent regulations, and customer requirements.
- Lead the development, writing and management of business / price proposal volumes to address requirements, and mitigate risk consistent with sound business practices, company policies, and government regulations.
Maintain all required contractual and price / business volume documentation.
Identify to stakeholders contractual and / or RFP terms that pose risk to the company and resolve / implement risk mitigation strategies.
Negotiate contractual terms with clients, focusing on mitigation of ICF’s risk.
- Provide guidance and oversight, and work with client representatives to resolve operational and contractual issues that may arise during the performance of the contract, with a focus on mitigating ICF’s risk while meeting the customer’s needs.
- Review and negotiate non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, and subcontract agreements (when ICF is subcontractor).
- Support data calls, maintain compliance with SOX and other governmental requirements, as well as client audit requirements on an ongoing basis.
- Proactively assess critical contract obligations and contract provisions, to include gaps and risks. Advise on contract revisions to better meet the needs of the Client and ICF.
- Handle multiple priority tasks and proposals effectively.
- Develop effective positive working relationships with both internal and external customers; participate in customer meetings as required.
- Identify, mitigate, and address issues requiring management review.
What you will need :
- 5+ years of experience in contracts administration, with experience supporting commercial and federal contracts.
- 5+ years of experience working with relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions and policies governing assigned contracts, as well as related federal and state legislation and regulations.
