Job Summary / Company :

Sparks Group, partnered with a mid-sized IT Services Government Contracting Consulting company in the DC Metro area, is seeking a Mid - Senior Contracts Administrator.

This Contracts Administrator will oversee contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and optimizing terms while leading the contracts management efforts for teaming agreements, NDAs, and consulting agreements.

Responsibilities :

  • Comprehensive Contract Management : Oversee the entire contract process, from negotiation and review to execution and maintenance, for both Federal and Commercial contracts, ensuring adherence to legal requirements and organizational policies.
  • Agreement Initiation and Maintenance : Initiate, negotiate, and maintain new agreements, including NDAs, TAs, Subcontracts, and Purchase Orders.

Coordinate additions, deletions, or modifications to Contracts / Subcontracts and address notification of funding limitations.

Record Management : Maintain and monitor Contract / Subcontract records to ensure compliance with funding requirements and contractual terms.

Organize and manage contract versions, amendments, correspondence, and related documents for easy retrieval and reference.

  • Issue Resolution : Research and resolve Contract / Subcontract issues, disputes, and terms / conditions, ensuring effective communication and resolution.
  • Proposal Support : Assist with proposal preparation, including RFP review, completion of Representations and Certifications, and providing price proposal support.

Conduct cost and price analysis as needed.

Qualifications / Background Profile :

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred,
  • 3+ years of Contract / Subcontract Administration experience in federal contracting.
  • NCMA certification preferred, demonstrating a commitment to professional development.
  • Strong understanding of the FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and proficiency with Deltek Costpoint.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel), with the ability to navigate complex contract documents and spreadsheets.
  • Working knowledge of contract types including IDIQ, CPFF, T&M, FFP, and GSA schedules.
