Description

The Software QA Supervisor will lead a team of QA analysts in implementing new software testing and maintaining existing test procedures including automated regression tests.

These processes are based on the requirements set forth by the project teams to ensure quality in systems function and performance utilizing industry standards.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Manage the existing QA team responsible for the quality assurance of all our software products.
• Develop and implement new software testing strategies and plans, working agile with the development team and product owners to ensure that software defects are identified and resolved in a timely manner.
• Meet and coordinate testing efforts with external QA resources, including Product Owners, Developers and IT leaders to ensure timely delivery of high- quality software.
• Research, maintain, and select software quality tools (automation, test management, etc.) to develop and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test data for the software products.
• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize the QA process.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulations to software industry standards.
• Provide regular metrics-based reports to management on the status of the software quality and testing efforts.

Education and Work Experience :

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in professional experience.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience overseeing a team responsible for quality assurance, testing analytics, or systems development with some automation experience providing results-based metrics.
• A strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and experience testing in an Agile environment.
• Demonstrated management talents and ability to interpret and communicate between business goals and IT objectives while working with different teams in the organization.
• Experienced in establishing a robust testing process, including comprehensive regression testing, and analytics for modern cloud-based applications.
• Proven experience working with a diverse set of QA tools and technologies.

• Experience with Zephyr Scale, Cypress and Jira or other testing tools combination preferred
• Business mindset with strong technical skills
• Data / system certifications are a plus
• Firm sense of accountability and ownership for the data and systems with a demonstrated ability to drive development
