Job Title : Litigation Paralegal
Full-time (Hybrid Remote up to 2 days remote after 90 days)
Frisco, TX
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and trial
- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, and interrogatories; files Federal and State motions and pleadings according to judicial procedures
- Research and analyze statutes, regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, and other legal sources; provides written analysis to attorneys
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation and depositions, which may include attending trials and hearings
- Manage case files and maintain document databases
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree and / or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program, preferred. Will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a litigation paralegal
- Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and legal terminology
- Proficiency in legal research and writing
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software programs
