We have an exceptional opportunity with a growing organization in the Salisbury, NC area. The Accounting Manager is a newly created role and will report to the Director of Finance.

This is an on-site position working with a collaborative team culture and the ideal candidate will be someone with a positive and friendly personality

This position will play a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day accounting functions and supervise a team of 3 other accounting staff, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

Responsibilities :

• Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable / receivable and general ledger.
• Analyze financial data and generate comprehensive reports for executive review.
• Develop and implement effective accounting policies and procedures to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Coordinate and facilitate bank audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal controls.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes, maintaining financial stability and integrity.
• Utilize advanced financial software tools (e.g., QuickBooks, depreciation & rental software) to enhance reporting and decision-making capabilities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support strategic initiatives and business objectives.

Qualifications :

• Minimum 5 years of recent experience as a Senior Level Accountant.
• Strong proficiency in end-of-month closings and Full-Cycle accounting.
• Expertise in implementing and refining accounting policies and methods.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in financial software, particularly QuickBooks.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Proven track record in managing and maintaining general ledger accuracy.
• A degree in a relevant field is preferred but not required.

Salary depends on experience : $72,000 - $82,000
