Logistics Engineer - Kings Mountain

Job Description :

Apex Systems is looking to hire an ONSITE Logistics Engineer for our client based out of Kings Mountain, NC.

This assignment is anticipated to be a 6-month contract with strong potential for extension / conversion.

This will also have a first shift Monday-Friday schedule.

Responsibilities :

• Preparing and coordinating the tact time, process, and product changes
• Executing and implementing decided improvements and working with continuous improvement
• Engineering tasks like frequency studies, standard operation procedure
• Performing changes in flows and internal / external logistics setup
• Perform rebuilding of a logistics setup

Experience :

• Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision.
• Coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals.
• Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.
