As a member of the Global HR team, your role in HR has a profound impact on a mission-critical aspect of the organization's development.
Your work in TikTok will leave a deep and lasting footprint as you help build a best-in-class HR function for the world's next elite Internet company.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with multiple domestic and international stakeholders to support our continued growth and expansion.
Must Criteria about the Role
- Willing and able to travel (domestically within the US & Internationally) to support business needs
- Expectation : 5-Days in office (Combined between SJC or SF office locations)

Job Description
Culture Content Strategy (70% of the role)
- Education : Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Human Resources, Journalism, IO Pyschology, Psychology, leadership, Org development, management, and business
- Years of experience : 4 - 6 yrs.
- Familiar with the start up environment and what it takes to drive and build from the ground up.
- Has experience working in content strategy, creation, publication, copywriting, and copy editing - newsletters, podcasts, short or long-form videos, etc.
- Familiar with the ins and outs of managing a content calendar and the operation support required to ensure smooth execution
- Has experience interviewing and profiling leaders to shape content messages and themes
- Familiar with the basics of photo, audio, and video editing for content production
- Willing and able to pick up a point-and-shoot to create video content should the project requires
- Has experience working in a distributed, global work environment.
- Solid understanding of graphic design and layout concepts
- Has experience doing community-building or culture-building work through the written word
- Strong English language skills : written and verbal
- Tools : Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Premier, Final Cut, Suites, Microsoft 365,
Leadership & Training Delivery (30% of the role)
- Has experience designing, developing, facilitating training and workshops in leadership, talent development, and business strategic focus areas
- In-depth understanding and experience designing for different learning modalities
- Has experience doing organizational analysis, coaching, and talent Advising
- Has experience with change management
- Has experience facilitating and / or hosting broadcast events
Qualifications
Preferred Requirements
- Education : Master's or PhD in communication, Human Resources, Journalism, IO Psychology, Psychology, leadership, Org. Development, Management, or business
- Years of experience : 3 - 5 yrs.
- Strong desire : Cross culture experience, and inter-regional regional management challenges and best practices
- Open to learning and growing in talent management, leadership development, organizational culture
- Has experience working with mid to senior level leaders
- Strong desire : work experience in both the Eastern and Western work environments
