Responsibilities :
As an BCTF / OSR Imaging Technician, you will perform asset management imaging activities at all locations supporting organizational staff members within the Joint Service Provider (JSP) user community.
You will interact daily with OSR technicians and Project Managers to ensure productivity and provide resolution to imaging issues that OSR may have with existing desktops and laptops.
As an OSR Imaging Technician, you will apply your comprehensive knowledge of asset management Imaging to ensure asset management services are delivered in a timely fashion.
You will provide input to configuration management planning; assist in provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting and configuration audits.
You will also assist in identifying, researching and resolving problems. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting Empower AI’s mission to fundamentally improve how the government conducts business and help its leaders achieve their missions by realizing the promise of AI.
Highlights of Responsibilities :
Image and reimage desktops, laptops and tablets using PXE boot in Microsoft SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager).
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to imaging processes.
Follow written instructions provided by OSR Leadership
Document imaging procedures and configurations for future reference and consistency.
Validate the accuracy and quality of images by following established validation procedures.
Create SNOW tickets to report image failures and track progress to resolution.
Report any discrepancies or errors with the image to OSR Leadership
Receive and verify the correct quantity and type of equipment that comes from the warehouse.
Utilize Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) to manage maintenance and usage of assets.
Test computer setups to ensure proper functionality after the imaging process is complete.

Must have a minimum of an active Secret Clearance
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for inventory management.
Proficiency in using asset management software and tools.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with desktop support teams effectively.
Basic understanding of hardware and software components commonly used in desktop support.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a dynamic environment.
Problem-solving skills to address equipment shortages or issues promptly.
Familiarity with procurement processes and vendor management.
Preferred experience with DPAS.
Capable of thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Required Education and Experience :
Bachelor’s Degree in IT related field or equivalent
2-3 years of professional experience supporting PC hardware and software systems.
8570 Level II Certification, Security+ desired.
ITILv4 Foundation minimum certification preferred.
