- The Capital Team manages the Firm's long-term capital resources on a global basis. The Team develops policies regarding equity capital requirements, capital structure, dividends and stock repurchases;
- promotes the optimal use of Firm capital while ensuring compliance with regulatory and Firm capital requirements; provides strategic analysis and guidance around issues and transactions with capital implications;
and co-ordinates capital stress testing for the Firm and its U.S. bank subsidiaries.

You will :
Oversee execution of CCAR and Quarterly Stress Test governance, including producing meeting materials for senior management and Board-level meetings, setting quarterly and on-going governance requirements / calendar
Provide guidance to input providers on bridging the gap between governance requirements and how they are applied in practice;
collaborate with various stakeholders on annual policy and procedures narrative updates
Liase with Internal Audit and Process Validation functions
Lead capital planning governance initiatives / regulatory requests
Lead cross-functional meetings to review and challenge management assumptions and overlays
Role will require in office attendance 3 days a week in our Midtown location
You have :
Considerable professional experience in financial services or management consulting
Bachelor's degree
Experience in using Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint)
Strong writing and presentation skills, including ability to summarize various governance requirements with clarify and brevity
Excellent communication, interpersonal and client service skills, including ability to identify linkage between various governance requirements and practical applications
Adept at working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
Proven track record of great teamwork and ability to work across organizational boundaries
Ability to work on multiple projects under a compressed timeline
Strong sense of ownership and accountability for work
Self-motivated and able to work independently
8 plus years of experience

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $110,000 and $190,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
