Learning Designer

Job Description :

Pay Range $23.32hr - $28.32hr

Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, deliver, and update learning resources such as e-learning courses, blended learning programs, videos, infographics, job aids, instructor / participant guides, instructor-led courses, webinars, and on-demand content.
• Synthesize and translate technical information into clear, effective, and engaging learning resources.
• Continuously review and revise learning resources to incorporate feedback and keep content current and fresh.
• Provide day-to-day learning support for business functions (i.e., Medical Information and Value & Evidence Scientific Exchange teams).
• All other duties, as applicable.

Principal Relationships :

• Contacts in the organization : trainers & training roles, Leadership Teams, specifically Medical Information Communication Channels, Medical Information & Knowledge.
• Integration, Value & Evidence Scientific Engagement field & in-house, Real World Analytics & Alliances, MSL field directors, Business Quality DLM and other colleagues, and representatives from other Learning & Development organizations.

Education and Experience :

• BA / BS (required) ideally in instructional design, training, instructional technology, or education. MA / MS in instructional design or a related field of study preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of business experience working in education and / or design and development is required.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience is preferred.
• Experience with one or more of the following training delivery methods is required : e-learning, virtual, or mobile.
• Awareness of the ADDIE model, Learning Management Systems, and SCORM standards preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of current instructional theories and principles applicable to both online and instructor-led learning programs is preferred.
• Ability to apply instructional design theories and adult learning principles in the design and development of blended learning approaches and solutions is preferred.
• Tools : Articulate, Storyline360, Canva, Davini, Adobe illustrator, Microsoft Office Tools.
