We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Licensing Specialist to join our team in the long-term care sector. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, manage the licensing process for long-term care facilities, and provide guidance and support to staff in maintaining operational standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Licensing Management : Oversee the application and renewal processes for licenses related to long-term care facilities, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Medicaid & Medicare Providers Enrollment : Facilitate the enrollment process for Medicaid and Medicare providers, ensuring all applications are complete, accurate, and submitted timely.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of enrollment requirements and guidelines.
- Regulatory Compliance : Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting long-term care facilities and implement necessary updates to policies and procedures.
- Documentation and Reporting : Prepare and submit required documentation to regulatory bodies, including reports and audits, while maintaining accurate records of licensing and compliance activities.
- Training and Support : Provide facility staff with training and resources on licensing requirements, compliance standards, and best practices in long-term care.
Qualifications :
- Associate degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations governing long-term care facilities.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with compliance management software.
- Familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare enrollment processes and requirements.
