Position Summary
Prometheus Federal Services (PFS) is a trusted partner of federal health agencies, seeking a Web Developer to design and build an engaging, user-centered web experience that reflects our client's brand and strategic goals. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to create layouts, graphics, and interactive features that are accessible and intuitive for a wide range of users. The Web Developer will contribute to both the visual and functional aspects of the website, support ongoing maintenance, and manage related digital platforms, including the organization's YouTube Channel.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and implement web pages that align with organizational branding and objectives
- Collaborate with project teams, including designers and developers, to develop layouts, graphics, and interactive elements
- Ensure web content meets usability and accessibility standards for diverse audiences
- Partner with UX professionals to deliver a seamless and intuitive user experience
- Maintain and update the organization's website to ensure consistent performance, security, and design
- Manage and update the organization's YouTube Channel, including integration with the website
- Identify and resolve website issues or bugs in a timely manner
- Stay informed about current web development trends, tools, and best practices
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Web Development, Computer Science, Graphic Design, or a related fieldMinimum five (5) years of experience in web development or designProficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworksStrong understanding of visual design principles, UX / UI concepts, and responsive designExperience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal)Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environmentStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExperience with video content integration and YouTube Channel management is a plusAuthorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorshipAbility to obtain a public trustKey Competencies
