The Opportunity

The Project Manager is responsible and accountable for leading the execution of Capital Projects to accomplish stated company objectives. The Project Manager will utilize project management experience and technical knowledge to drive collaborative and strategic planning, project team development and proactive stakeholder engagement to maximize benefit, minimize cost and reduce risks.

What You'll Do

• Manage project lifecycle activities including scope definition, budget, schedule, execution, and reporting functions in accordance with TC Energy's Project Delivery Standard
• Maintain a high level of focus on health, quality, safety, and environment. Actively lead a positive safety culture to ensure incident and injury free project
• Ensure close and effective coordination with all internal stakeholder groups
• Ensure development of appropriate Project Execution Plan including strategies for both the development and implementation phases of the project
• Provide input to and support regulatory application and permits specific to facilities and pipeline portfolio
• Ensure contractor performance is monitored and measured against contract terms and conditions
• Manage costs and manpower to drive execution efficiencies, leveraging network and lessons learned to achieve goals
• Collaborate with Engineering, the Construction Management Team, and Operations to ensure a smooth transition through commissioning, start-up and operation
• Review and analyze proposal documents, codes, regulations, and laws to ensure conformance to project deliverables and requirements
• Ensure the project is being constructed in compliance with required engineering documents, design standards and specifications; and all applicable permit and environmental requirements
• Ensure risks are being tracked and evaluated throughout the project life cycle
• Ensure completion of project deliverables on time, on budget and within scope
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's project management tools and processes
• Travel required for this position. During construction months, more frequent travel is required
