Position Overview

The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for filling material demands of internal and external customers. Accurately perform and transact inventory movements using a computerized inventory control system following FIFO practices.

Electronically collect lot or serial data for inventory transactions. Follow documented policies and procedures as designated by Nonin’s Quality System.

Shift : Monday through Thursday 5am - 2 : 30pm, Friday 5am-9am

Essential Job Functions

• Perform domestic and international shipping activities.
• Package and stock finished goods items.
• Interface with Customer Service, Technical Service and delivery personnel.
• Fill and transact work orders, purchase orders and sales orders.
• Perform cycle counts.
• Pick and supply kits to Production and receive completed devices.
• Transact inventory movements using inventory control system.
• Fill independent demands for material requisitions.
• Ensure FIFO is followed for all transactions.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Required Education & Experience :

High School diploma or equivalent.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Effective communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, team player.
• Knowledge of warehouse activities.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

• Experience in inventory control and warehouse activities.
• Electric pallet lift certification
• ERP / Microsoft AX
• Multi courier shipping system data entry and reporting experience
• International shipping documentation experience
• Medical device experience
• Lot / serial control experience
• Experience with lean methodologies

Physical Requirements :

• Stand / sit and walk for up to 9 hours per day.
• Regular lifting and twisting of torso with packages of up to 25 pounds.
• Occasional lifting of up to 90 pounds.
• Occasional climbing of ladders.
• Occasional exposure to dust / particulates.
