Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and oversee infrastructure projects, including network upgrades, data center expansions, and system migrations.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to track progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgetary constraints.
- Allocate resources, manage vendor relationships, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identify and mitigate risks, and resolve issues that may impact project timelines and quality.
- Conduct regular status meetings and provide project updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
- Manage project budgets, expenses, and procurement processes to optimize project cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare and present project evaluations and assessments, including lessons learned and recommendations for process improvements.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. PMP or PRINCE2 certification is preferred.
- 4+ years of experience as a Project Manager in infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
- Strong technical understanding of infrastructure components, including networks, servers, and storage systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera).
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with additional infrastructure technologies or methodologies .
- Certifications in infrastructure management or related fields.
- Familiarity with specific industry such as finance, healthcare, etc. .
- Demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience.
- Knowledge of other relevant skills or experiences such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, etc. .
