Mortgage Loan Coordinator

Groundwork seeks to enhance and expand its award-winning mortgage team by adding a highly skilled and customer-focused mortgage professional to work in collaboration with the Groundwork sales and operations team in providing exceptional service to Groundwork’s customers in Missouri, Illinois, and Kansas.

Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, committed, and possess a " can-do " and positive attitude with a proven record of delivering solutions.

Candidates that hold an active Mortgage Loan Originator license in any State and have at least 2-years of professional mortgage experience will be preferred.

Candidates with at least 1-year of professional mortgage experience who are committed to obtaining a Mortgage Loan Originator license with diligence under Groundwork’s sponsorship will be strongly considered.

Compensation : $50,000 +

Responsibilities :

• Collect and verify necessary financial documentation, such as credit reports, to complete mortgage loan applications and determine creditworthiness
• Act as a liaison between applicants, mortgage brokers and loan officers, real estate agents, and mortgage lending underwriters to help further loan approval
• Order property and loan documentation such as appraisals, inspections, title searches, site surveys, contracts, and property tax records to help process mortgage loan files
• Input detailed loan process documentation in our system - from origination to close
• Prepare and submit detailed loan packages to the lender underwriting department for approval or denial

Qualifications :

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a requirement
• Strong analytical and time management skills and superior attention to detail
• FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loan product knowledge and mortgage lending experience required
• Minimum of 2+ years loan processing experience required
• Accounting, finance, or business Associate’s degree preferred - High school diploma or GED required
