The opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Senior Community Manager to lead our SimplyCodes Insiders Program. In this high-impact role, you'll :

  • Develop and execute the strategy for our Insiders Program, focusing on high-expectation customers (HXCs)
  • Design and implement engagement initiatives to grow and nurture our Insiders community
  • Conduct user research to inform product development and community initiatives
  • Create engaging user experiences that drive participation, loyalty, and product feedback
  • Influence product development through community insights and data-driven feedback
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to align community initiatives with business goals

You'll report directly to the CEO (acting as Chief Product Officer) and play a key role in shaping our user engagement strategy.

What you'll do

  • Lead the development and implementation of our Insiders Program strategy
  • Design and manage community engagement initiatives, including email outreach, content creation, and gamification systems
  • Create and run marketing programs to attract and retain Insiders
  • Organize and facilitate online and offline community events, including focus groups and ideation sessions
  • Manage our Discord community for Insiders
  • Conduct user research studies, including interviews, surveys, and diary studies
  • Analyze community health metrics and research data to provide actionable insights
  • Collaborate with the product team to integrate Insider feedback into the development process
  • Design and implement Insider perks and rewards programs
  • Represent Demand.io 's community initiatives at industry events and conferences

A day in the life

As the Senior Community Manager for the SimplyCodes Insiders Program, you might :

  • Analyze engagement data from a recent Insider challenge and plan the next community initiative
  • Conduct a focus group with top Insiders to gather insights on a new AI-powered feature
  • Design a new gamification system to incentivize high-quality contributions from Insiders
  • Create content for an email campaign to recruit new Insiders
  • Facilitate a virtual ideation session with our Product Expert Panel
  • Present Insider feedback and research findings to the product team, influencing the product roadmap
  • Collaborate with the UX research team to design a diary study for testing a new feature

About you

Must-haves :

  • 6-10 years of experience in community management or related field, with a focus on digital products or platforms
  • Proven track record of building and growing engaged online communities, particularly with high-expectation users
  • Experience with user research methodologies, both qualitative and quantitative
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from community data and research findings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with community members
  • Experience designing and implementing gamification and rewards systems
  • Understanding of e-commerce and online shopping behaviors

Nice-to-haves :

  • Experience managing ambassador or insider programs for consumer products
  • Familiarity with UX research tools (e.g., UserTesting, Hotjar, Lookback)
  • Background in e-commerce or fintech communities
  • Experience with Discord community management
  • Knowledge of psychological principles behind user engagement and motivation

Compensation & Growth Opportunity

At Demand.io, we align individual success with company performance :

  • Competitive base salary : $130,000 - $200,000 DOE
  • Equity : 0.15% - 0.35% initial grant in a $100M+ valuation company
  • Partners Program : Our profit-sharing system
  • Substantial cash bonuses tied to company performance
  • Potential to earn multiples of base salary through monthly profit-sharing
  • Rewards exceptional performance and long-term commitment

The Partners Program provides increasing rewards as Demand.io grows. Eligibility typically begins after 6 months, with increasing bonus percentages as you advance through Partner levels.
