WORK SCHEDULE : 6 : 30PM TO 6 : 30PM includes Weekends, Holidays with a Flex Schedule
Responsibilities :
- Ensure every patient receives excellent care while upholding the facility’s core values.
- Direct acute care operations with a focus on efficiency and quality.
- Manage staff members and uphold program standards.
- Oversee services and programs while on duty.
- Resolve any issues while maintaining quality of care.
- Collaborate with all hospital departments and managers.
- Monitor the use of hospital resources.
- Lead change as directed in the facility.
- Meet regularly with assigned hospital leadership to examine and evaluate performance.
- Ensure consistent compliance, quality, risk, financial, and human resources expectations.
- Identify opportunities to improve the overall patient experience.
- Coordinate the activities of admission, discharge, and transfer of patients.
- Provide direction to department leaders to ensure safe staffing levels.
- Apply competent knowledge and skills to achieve quality outcomes.
- Provide interim leadership including crisis management intervention.
Qualifications :
- MSN, MBA, MHA, or related Degree from an accredited college / university program required.
- Registered Nurse currently licensed in New York State.
- At least five (5) years of related hospital leadership experience required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Clear verbal communication skills.
- Ability to make sound judgments and discern when to call others.
