Responsibilities and Qualifications :
Bonobos is seeking a Wholesale Operations Specialist responsible for a combination of both operational and sales tasks. Operationally, they will provide and create better efficiencies in reporting, data entry, and communications support, serving as the backbone of the wholesale department.
This role is integral to the entire sales process from preseason items set up at a UPC / GXS level, to order processing, forecasting and outbound shipment processing.
This role will maintain key systems and platforms including, but not limited to : Netsuite, Excel (advanced), and NuOrder.
The Wholesale Operations Specialist will evaluate processes in place and partner with cross-functional resources to create improved efficiencies that fit current business needs and allow it to scale.
From a sales perspective, they will also work with Specialty Store Accounts, including new inbounds from various channels and focus on growing our top 10-20 current accounts and building new potential channels such as Corporate for example.
They will evaluate new specialty clients to ensure they are a fit for the brand and the capacity of the team, and potential ROI’s of the partnership.
The Bonobos wholesale division is positioned for growth and this role will have opportunities for additional exposure internally and externally.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational :
Pull weekly available-to-sell inventory reports for current and future shipment opportunities
Cross function with DTC & planning to identify inventory opportunities in DTC that may be opportunistic for wholesale expansion
Pull weekly open order reports to monitor shipment timing and work to improve fulfilment and turnaround times
Evaluate the need for process improvements and work with cross functional teams to make the changes necessary
Create seasonal line sheets in partnership with Wholesale Account Executive
Work with Civa, an outsourced customer service solution, on NuOrder. This will include archiving outdated collections and maintaining NuOrder for current inventory and future collections, in partnership with the Wholesale Account Executive
Work closely with engineering and operations to make sure inventories are syncing, to reflect updated availability, and help automate the specialty store order processing capabilities.
Provide online digital support including : copy info, image requests, ensuring all live products are captured accurately
Work with the sales and planning teams for by-size break outs for production needs, seasonally
Assist with retailer portals, to input sample tracking details and other logistics, as needed to help monitor and minimize chargebacks
Partner with cross-functional teams to manage timely inbound and outbound deliveries, samples, production orders, pricing, and ticketing
Order maintenance within netsuite, to maintain the integrity of bulks and PO data
Sales :
Qualify inbound retailer requests, to make sure the competitive landscape we hang with at the retailer and the retail price points carried are a fit for the brand
Focus on growing current specialty stores
Proactively share available inventory with clients, with an understanding of assortments (a merchant perspective) that may be appropriate by channel i.
e. golf, swim, sportswear, sweaters, suiting, tailored and accessories
Manage the life cycle of wholesale samples - placing orders seasonally, coordinating requests for major accounts, and preparing for internal meetings
Data entry for retailer VLL and item input sheets
Specialty store order processing
Qualify inbound retailer requests to make sure the competitive landscape at the retailer and the retail price points carried are a fit for the brand
Together, with the Director of Wholesale, establish rules of engagement for specialty stores, including minimum annual shipments, in order to prioritize workloads for a lean team and revenue growth
Manage organic leads such as the corporate channel for new growth channels
Assist the sales team as needed in seasonal market week deck and sample needs
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
2-3 years of wholesale work experience in sales, operations, or customer service
Netsuite and NuOrder experience not required but preferred
Must be able to speak to current operations and / or retailer systems use
Advance Excel skills
A college degree is preferred

Actual compensation offered is dependent upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, work location, education, relevant skills and experience of the candidate.
