Job Title : Communications Systems Engineer (Hybrid)

Background / Need :
The Group is seeking eager candidates to develop and validate signal processing communication functions.
Must Have :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related scientific / engineering field
- Proficiency in C++ development, including coding, debugging, and testing
- Proficiency in Verilog and / or VHDL / HDL
- Experience designing software for real-time and near-real-time software executing Physical-layer signal processing of digital communication receivers (e.
g. demodulation, equalization, decoding)
- Familiarity with design principles for digital communication systems.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills including collaborating with other on-site and / or remote technical team members, preparing and sharing technical results with others, and documenting work to aid other team members and activities.
Nice to Have :
- Experience developing software for 5G NR Physical layer (e.g. using software packages such as srsRAN).
- Hands-on experience with operating Ettus / NI software defined radios.
- Proficiency in MATLAB.
- Python programming.
- Proficiency in scientific programming for GPU architectures.
- Master’s degree or PhD.
Education & Experience : Bachelor's plus 3+ years of relevant work experience.
Work Authorization : US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
