IT Program Manager (Hybrid)
We have an immediate need for a contract IT Project Manager to join a multinational hospitality organization. The IT Program Manager will utilize program management disciplines across all SDLC methodologies to deliver projects that optimize IT investments supporting the organization’s business strategies.
Location : Phoenix, AZ. Hybrid working onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
This job expects to pay around $60 70 per hour plus benefits.
What You Will Do :
- Plan and facilitate moderate to complex efforts that support business sponsored IT projects / programs delivery.
- Compile project plans, developing and managing budgets / timelines / schedules, assessing impacts, issues, risks, identifying stakeholders and coordinating cross-team and vendor dependencies.
- Use influence and negotiation skills to drive projects, clear roadblocks, and resolve conflicts.
- Manage and control budgets, project scope, timeline, quality, and costs.
- Analyze issues and risks, and lead in developing and implementing mitigation plans and solutions in partnership with the impacted stakeholders.
- Responsible for project / program / portfolio reporting and communications, ensuring project team, stakeholders, and management are properly informed through specific channels providing consistent standards and visibility with reporting tools and dashboards.
- Develop relationships at all levels of the organization, acting as a trusted partner.
- Leverage IT Planning and PMO methodology & tools to effectively perform project management functions.
What Gets You The Job :
Bachelor’s degree and / or minimum 5+ years of demonstrated project / program experience managing programs or projects;
or equivalent formal education in project management
PMP) Project Management Professional or (CSM) Certified Scrum Master is preferred
- Understanding and familiarity of project, program and portfolio management best practices
- Understanding and familiarity of Agile Methodologies including but not limited to Scrum, Kanban and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Demonstrated success in delivering moderate to complex projects and / or programs from inception to delivery.
- Strong leadership skills in traditional and Agile software development environments
- Strong project and program management skills in service / product-based industry
- Demonstrated financial experience with managing IT project budgets
- Proficient in the use of project management software such as EOS, and development tools such as Jira
