As the Technical Program Manager for Workday ERP Implementation, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, HR, Finance, and Operations, to ensure the successful deployment of the system.

Relocation assistance is available. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and post-implementation support. Ensure that milestones are met on time and within budget.
  • Work closely with departments such as IT, HR, Finance, and Operations to gather requirements, align objectives, and ensure that the Workday ERP system meets the diverse needs of the organization.
  • Create detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk management, and contingency planning. Monitor progress and make adjustments as necessary to keep the project on track.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, challenges, and successes.

Ensure that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the implementation process.

  • Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to Workday, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to integrate Workday with other systems and platforms within the organization.
  • Drive the development and execution of change management strategies to ensure a smooth transition to the new system. Provide leadership in designing training programs and materials for end-users to maximize system adoption and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Workday and other third-party vendors to ensure that all implementation activities are aligned with the project’s goals.

Manage vendor performance to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the implementation. Conduct post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for future improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities after the Workday ERP implementation :

  • Continued identification of program individual component projects and estimate resources required to deliver the program.
  • Manage the sharing of resources among their assigned projects to the overall benefit of the program.
  • Identify and manage connections and dependencies among the individual projects.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders to set expectations, review objectives, and coordinate resources across the individual component projects.
  • Undertakes strategy creation for contingency planning and risk mitigation.
  • Define requirements and plans the project life cycle deployment.
  • Work with assigned Project Managers to monitor cost, schedule, and technical performance of component projects and operations, while working to ensure the ultimate success of the program.
  • Manage program budget to conform to policy. Guides the preparation of budgets for the component projects and prepares cost estimates for the program.
  • Lead teams towards reaching goals through the effective use of organizational change management.
