KPMG is currently seeking an Associate, HR People Relations to join our Talent & Culture organization.
Responsibilities :
- Keep the People Relations Group (PRG) library of resources organized, assist with operations related to workforce reductions, provide regular reporting from ServiceNow and HR Acuity, and help the PRG leadership team as needed with team operations
- Address employee relations cases of low complexity, consult with OGC as appropriate, and counsel employees through situations by interpreting and applying knowledge of firm and HR policies
- Support HR Management on low complexity investigations on a variety of matters, including violation of firm policy or procedure, perceived unfair treatment and unlawful workplace activity
- Participate in oversight of employee conflicts, supporting AWA process and evaluating requests for medical accommodations;
- assist with emergency response / crisis management cases, employee separations, leaves of absence, transfers and relocations, and outside employment verifications;
escalate more complex issues as necessary to PRG management
- Perform other duties which may involve facilitation of annual performance assessment and salary review processes in conjunction with the HRBA’s as needed
- May provide OMP / local office support and counsel on HR programs to HR management team, including but not limited to I&D, affirmative action initiatives, EOC, town hall meetings and HR reporting
Qualifications :
- Minimum one year of recent human resources experience or comparable experience required
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience
- Understanding of basic HR principles
- Able to handle highly confidential information; ability to multi-task; excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of Peoplesoft
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
