Server Assistant

The range of compensation is $17 - $18 / hour plus tips.

The Server Assistant / Porter represents the restaurant with the highest levels of sanitation and cleanliness. The Server Assistant / Porter must interact with the employees and management in a professional and collaborative manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Buses tables of dishware and sanitizes tables so it is thoroughly cleaned
• Polishes glassware and stores safely
• Assists servers in bringing drink and food orders tableside
• Removes and breaks down boxes from receiving area
• Assists FOH team in service, sidework and the guest experience
• Sorts and disposes of trash (compost, recycling, and garbage)
• May assist Dishwasher when needed in :
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of the dish area at all times
• Cleans and sanitizes all areas and surfaces of the restaurant including the exterior before and after service
• Cleans and sanitizes dirty glassware, flatware, plate ware, kitchenware, and grill parts for cleaning before, during, and after service

Work Environment

• Involves standing and walking the entire shift
• Involves holding objects with hands
• Involves reaching, bending, and stooping frequently
• Involves lifting, moving, and carrying at least 50 pounds with frequency throughout shift
