Our ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in construction estimation and very strong communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities :
- Examine specifications, blueprints, proposals, and construction documents to understand the project as a whole.
- Prepare estimates, written proposals, budgets, costs, and updates for clients and project managers.
- Estimate time, labor, construction materials, and product costs to determine overall cost for construction projects.
- Inspect the construction site to collect necessary client requirement information.
- Inquire with clients regarding the status of submitted proposal and budgets.
- Qualify bids invited through various platforms with suitable contractors.
- Maintain a minimum annual gross margin set forth in the department.
Qualifications :
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and construction estimating software.
- Stellar communication, project management, and time-management skills are crucial.
- Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) certification from the American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE) is preferred.
- 3 years of experience in the construction industry - project estimating or construction management is necessary.
- Understanding of accounting, data and risk analysis, research methodology, and estimation metrics is vital.
Compensation : $22 - $28 hourly
