Job Details for Shipping Clerk in Bedford Park, IL :

• Pay Rate : $19.00
• Weekly Pay through Direct Deposit
• Schedule : Monday - Friday, 7 : 00AM - 3 : 30PM

DAY TO DAY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Verify pick up numbers against a google sheet tracker
• Communicate with team members on the floor to provide updates on inbound / outbound loads
• Escalate concerns and issues with Account Manager and Operational Manager on site as needed
• Must have capability to use Outlook explorer and transfer order information from Email to Excel trackers
• Must be able to provide directions to truck drivers to include dock assignments and pre loading instructions as needed.
• Update trackers for inbound loads and provide paperwork (Bill of Lading and Packing List for Outbound Loads)
• SOC (shipper-owned container) exp.
• check-in process w / truck drivers

update excel spreadsheets with arrival / depart times

basic clerical work and some filing

SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS :

• Good Attitude, Dedicated to Job, Respectful to Management
• Attendance, Be on time and communicate any issues to supervisors
• Efficient with Microsoft Office
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is a must
