JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Recommend modifications to manufacturing processes (Engineering Changes or sketch changes) in conjunction with other engineers in order to improve quality and / or manufacturing cycle times.
- Assist with developing solutions to manufacturing process problems and / or new customer requirements.
- Develop material / cost analysis comparison between alternative solutions.
- Work with other engineers, CAD drafters, manufacturing department supervisors, and technical buyers to develop and / or improve workable manufacturing processes.
- Improved quality and / or manufacturing cycle times through ECN"s, sketch changes, and / or program changes.
- Material / cost analysis comparison between alternative solutions created as required.
- Workable manufacturing processes created in a timely manner (in conjunction with Manufacturing Engineer(s)).
- Create CAD sketches for manufacturing operations based on rough sketches provided by Manufacturing Engineer(s)
- Create CAD sketches for outside process operations as specified by Manufacturing Engineer(s) and / or Q.C. Department.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)
- At least 4 years of cnc programming experience
- Knowledge of process related standards
- Experience in process development with CNC manufacturing background
- Working knowledge of process engineering software packages
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Solid Works skills
- Aerospace Experience
- Excellent technical skill
- Excellent analytical skills
