CNC Programming Manager and Technical Lead
Main Responsibilities :
Enhance Machining Processes for Repetitive Tasks
Shorten machining cycle times, focusing on high-volume products. Identify chances to standardize tooling across various jobs to minimize machine setup time.
Daily Shop Support
Aid in material reposting to maintain shop workflow.
New Product Introduction
Develop processes for new products based on best practices from current products, including fixture methodologies. Participate in the purchase order review process to ensure programming timelines align with production start dates and quoted hours.
Work with the production team to ensure programs meet customer requirements, making adjustments as needed to minimize machine downtime.
Standardization and Tooling Optimization
Discover opportunities to use standardized tooling to reduce setup and cycle times. Update management on program progress to avoid impacting production or customer deadlines.
Collaborate with peers and management to create standardized tool packages and best practices for parts and processes. Review any new, non-standard tools with management.
Efficiency in Machining
Develop methods using multiple fixtures for small to midsize parts to enable longer runs and facilitate unattended machining.
Compliance and Additional Duties
Ensure compliance with ISO standards and complete all required training. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements :
Education and Experience
Experience in CNC Programming.
